How Can You Help?

The following is our wish list. It is not listed in order of importance. Please keep a listing of your contributions. We are currently seeking the IRS tax exemption of 501(c)3. When approved, all donations made to Shalen Opportunities within 18 months of the approval are retro-actively tax deductible.

Time - tell a friend about us; download a brochure and hand it out; refer us to someone that may be able to help us; if you have ONE hour you can commit, consider project: grant finder (it involves internet research); tell a friend. If you have skills or talents that might help us, let us know. If we aren't at place to use those talents now, we will contact you as soon as we are. Tell us about a group or organization that might be interested in hearing about us or in one of us giving a presentation. Tell a friend. Sign up for our newsletter. Tell a friend.

Land - we will accept any size, any condition, any location, even if it isn't to be used as the primary community location. Once we get land, we can accept donations of building materials.

Money - we will accept any size monetary donation. It may not be able to buy land or buy building material, but $5 can buy some paper to print out brochures. If 100 people donate $5, we can submit the IRS tax exempt application. If others can donate more, the quicker the community can be built and others can see sustainability up close and personal. 8)
